Thank god I didn’t say in my 2020 goals that I wanted to travel more. What a sh*t show last year was. Who knows what 2021 will bring but I’m doing everything I can to make it better than the last catastrophe. Where I live is already in tier 4 (basically lockdown) so I can’t do a great deal outside or with others yet but, I’m hoping the summer of 2021 is going to be much better. I’m not giving myself resolutions as such, I’m just putting out into the universe some of the things that I’d like to gain in 2021 instead.
1 – Get stronger
I’ve been working at the gym a lot through the later part of 2020 and I already got to see results in personal bests, so I’m hoping to see more progression in this in 2021. Going to the gym has helped my mental health enormously and has especially helped through the pandemic, giving me something to focus on. While I’m in tier 4, and can’t go to the gym, I’m still going to try and do at-home workout but they’re never the same!
2 – Mulberry Medium Lily
I just love bags. I love Mulberry and I’ve been after another ever since I got my first at 21. I’d say surviving a pandemic (and getting a promotion I’ve been after for months) is a pretty good reason. I’m not 100% sure if I’ll go for this bag or another (and spend the money on a holiday instead) but either way, I want a new bag…sorry for being materialistic.
3 – Go on holiday
My last Holiday was in February 2020 to Dublin and I can’t wait to get back on a plane and here Jess Glynn welcome me on a Get2 plane. We’re not sure when things will be back to “normal” yet, which will dictate whether I’ll be going on planes or choosing stay-cations, but either way I can’t wait to get away and spend some time with friends and family. Like I’ve not spent almost the entire of 2020 with my family, inside.
I think I say this every year, but I’d love to work on my blog more in 2021 and give it the attention it deserves. I’ve recently invested a little in my photography set-up which has made me a lot more motivated and excited about the content that I’m putting out. I’m excited to see what 2021 will bring, hopefully a vaccine!
Let me know your 2021 goals if you’re doing any! –
