Following from my last post, I got Latest in Beauty’s second drop of their collab with The Sundays Times Style Awards. In this box I got more already-loved products than the first so I knew what I was getting and wasn’t as excited. There’s still a new favourite find and it was again incredible value for just £30.
The Body Shop, Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask (RRP £18)
This is a mask I already own and love so this was a great chance to re-stock a firm favourite. This mask makes my skin feel clean and refreshed and it helps calm down any breakouts. It’s a bit of a pain in the arse to get off because of the chunks, but it’s worth it.
Clinque, All About Eyes (RRP £9.17 for 5ml)
I love Clinique’s skincare and their eye cream, again it was already one of my favourites. It’s the most hydrating and non-irrating formula I’ve found and this mini will be great for travelling. I’m really trying to find alternatives to Clinique as I’m trying to use cruelty free products so if anyone has any recommendations, please let me know!
BlinkBrowBar, Clear Brow Gloss (RRP £21)
The fluffy brows trend thankfully doesn’t look to be going anywhere and this brow gel will help you get those hairs standing up all day. I have fluffy brows naturally but they’re quite stubborn and hard to hold down (relate). This clear gel sticks the hairs in place and separates them with little effort and I think it’s definitely worth the price tag.
Eylure, Pro Magnetic Faux Mink Accent (RRP £20)
After receiving similar lashes in drop one and loving them I was excited to try these. Because they’re shorter than the full lashes they’re easier to wear and give a more subtle look. They elevate everyday looks without looking too dramatic. They’re ridiculously easy to apply, with just a couple of coats of the liner needed, and even easier to take off.
Urban Decay, All Nighter Setting Spray (RRP £26)
This is another firm favourite of mine. This setting spray keeps my make up on all night even after far too many porn star Martinis. You can go out in the pouring rain and your make up will still be perfectly in place with this on.
Lisa Eldridge, True Velvet Lipstick in Velvet Teddy (RRP £26)
A red lip is a classic look and I wear it often so I always love getting new red lipsticks (no they’re not all the same shade). Velvet Teddy is a more blue-toned red which I found washed me out more than any of my other reds. The formula is very pigmented, applies very opaque and smoothly. I’m going to have to try this a few more times because I’m not sure if I’m in love with it or if it’s just like any other red lipstick.
I got approximately £120 worth of items which I will 100% use, so that’s an absolute bargain. Apart from the lipstick, I’ll use all the products consistently and I’m really happy with this Latest In Beauty edit. They have a few items left and they’ve reduced the price to only £20!
If you’ve tried any of these items let me know!
